Worms & UFOs is a personal illustration series where anthropomorphic worms live out everyday scenes —sometimes absurd, sometimes tender— under the constant presence of flying saucers.

The project began as a formal exploration: I wanted to create characters with a very simple visual structure, yet with a distinct identity. That led to these worms —cylindrical bodies, round eyes split by a vertical line, and spherical noses that don’t express emotion, but give them personality.

Through them, I explore familiar settings —a retro diner, a costume party, a skatepark, street scenes— with an aesthetic that blends nostalgia, flat colors, and minimal narrative. The style is clean and direct, with a vibrant palette and compositions that reward close looking.

While this is a personal series, Worms & UFOs is also a space for visual experimentation, humor, and wordless storytelling.
